The Sims 4 is a video game franchise developed by The Sims Studio and is published by Electronic Arts. The Sims 4 is the latest installment in the life simulation game series, The Sims. The Sims 4 is the first PC game of the series to be designed for Windows PCs. The game is compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, macOS 10.9, and Mac OS X 10.10. The Sims 4 is a life simulation game where players can create and control a person, known as a Sim, and their family. The Sims 4 features a new "infinite" world called Willow Creek, a new system for building homes, and enhancements to the Gallery.

Gameplay

The Sims 4 is a life simulation game in which the player controls their Sims in various activities and form relationships. The player can choose to play in either Create-a-Sim or Live mode. Create-a-Sim mode allows the player to customize their Sims with various body, facial, and clothing options. Live mode is where the player begins their game. The player will then be able to do things like build a home, control their Sims’ daily life, and form relationships. The gameplay of The Sims 4 consists of three different modes: Live mode, which operates in real-time and is used for playing the game; Build mode, which is used for building homes, furniture, and decorations; and Buy mode, which is used for buying furniture and decorations. In Live mode, players will control their Sims in a manner similar to previous games, whereby the player is able to choose their Sims' traits, skills, and outfit, and can direct their Sims to perform certain tasks.

Graphics

The Sims 4 has improved graphics from previous games. The game features a new technology called the “Sims 4 Create A Sim” which allows the player to customize their Sims with various body, facial, and clothing options. The Sims 4 has improved graphics in comparison to previous Sims games, including increased detail for Sims' faces, and support for larger neighborhoods.

Replayability

The Sims 4 is an open-world game, meaning there are no set goals for the player. The player can do whatever they want in the game, leading to an infinite replayability. The Sims 4 features a new system called "active careers", whereby the player's Sims will have an active career that will entail a weekly shift. Sims will receive feedback depending on their performance at work; for example, receiving a promotion and a pay raise for a job well done.
